Newsletter: Change is scary.
I recently decided to pursue a even bigger vision of myself and my purpose on the planet. Let me honestly say that it brought up some deep fears inside of me. You see I'm very comfortable where I am. There really isn't a BIG need to change anything. Life is really great for me so what's the point in pursuing even more?
When you decide to step into a bigger vision of yourself it will require you to grow. When things are comfortable nothing really happens. Even if you're comfortable being uncomfortable, nothing is happening. But when you decide for more, you have to become that person.
The desire to have more will require you to be even more. Let me give you an example, if your goal is to have more clients in your business or a bigger account, who do you need to become to attract that kind of opportunity? This will start you in the direction of clearing thoughts, patterns and feelings that are keeping you stuck, smaller than you actually are. You will have to become a bigger version of yourself.
Another example is the desire to be with someone who is exceptional. You will have to become exceptional to attract exceptional. Your higher standards will require you to look at yourself carefully and weed out the parts that no longer serve you.
My desire to be even more requires me to dig in deeper than I ever have. Although it has required me to be uncomfortable, I can honestly say that it's been worth it. My bigger vision for myself is becoming very clear and very doable. It will just require time and patience.
Set an uncomfortable goal for yourself. One that makes you squirm. Start the journey towards that goal and step into your power.
