Newsletter: Coinkidinks January 2010

As you all know I'm a perpetual optimist who believes life is an amazing experience filled with incredible coinkidinks (coincidences). Some are more fun than others!

I met up with a good friend of mine yesterday for lunch. As we were sitting at this delicious restaurant we both seemed to want the same thing. I ordered first, soup, salad, and freshly squeezed vegetable juice. She went next.

She ordered the soup and added tofu to her salad. In my mind that sounded like a great idea but I didn't speak up as I didn't want to be a copy cat! All I could think was, "gosh I really would like some tofu."

As we chatted away she noticed the juices around her and said that she should have gotten some as well. We decided she would try mine and if she liked it, order her own.

The waitress came back with our food. She apologized that by mistake she had put tofu on my salad. And that there was extra juice squeezed and if my friend would like some.

Now, coninkidinks or not. That's cool :))) To me that was a little miracle of self nurturing the universe was providing us with. If I hadn't noticed it, it would have passed me by as another of those goofy things that happen to me all the time. Yet I chose to look at it as the universes way of saying, "Hey, I hear you and am happy to give you what you want."

In the next week, notice what little miracles are happening around you. What are you ignoring that might be a little gift from the universe.
