Newsletter: In Flow December 08
My husband and I went on a trip to St. John. It's an amazing and beautiful place to be. I've attached some pictures for you. What caught my attention the most was how the local population understood the Law of Attraction principle of being in the flow. They were hard working but relaxed in their attitude and thoughts. Everything worked without a sense of pushing and grasping. There was a deep trust within these people. Now mind you the local population hasn't had an easy time. They are descendants of slaves and the majority of the wealth is still held by the white population. But still there is a flow to their lives.
So what does being in the flow mean, and how do we achieve that during these difficult times? Being in the flow means allowing the process of manifestation to happen without resistance. It doesn't mean not taking action steps, which are very crucial. But a trust that things work out may it be through god, the universe. This flow helps attract to you more resources, opportunities, money, relationships etc. Here are some suggestions on ideas on being in the flow.
- Listen to beautiful music that makes you feel good and start singing it out loud and dancing. I noticed that the Island people do this a lot. They sing out loud and shake their hips to the grove. When you sing out loud you're verbalizing your feelings which is the strongest vibration to attract with. And movement helps move resistance in your body.
- Be in nature. Nature has a calming and peaceful energy that is supportive and recharging. Being around water is the most energizing. Allan and I swam every day which filled us with energy for our busy lives. Water releases negative ions which increase the mood chemical serotonin. Serotonin helps to alleviate depression, If you can't be outside, get a little water fountain for your table. It will make a world of difference.
- Have an interesting conversation with someone new or someone you think is fascinating. You'll probably learn something new and be inspired to move forward. You know me, I was making friends with all the locals. Their accent was different and ways of expression were unique. It helped my brain work and create new neural pathways that weren't there before. My brain grew and expanded.
- Eat something yummy but savor it. Don't just inhale it. Taste the spices, feel the texture against your tongue, smell the flavors. Food is a powerful agent of comfort. Don't use it as a substitute for other things.
- Slow down!! We live in such fast paced world that very few of us slow down enough to actually enjoy our lives. If you're telling me there is to much to worry about right now and can't. Well, the law of attraction cannot work for you and bring you new things if you have no space!
Have a wonderful few weeks. If you have any questions about the classes etc. let me know.
