The Bon energy training retreat from Tibet was beyond words. I have taken many trainings over the years, but it barely prepared me for the intensity of the work and changes. The Bon tradition started in the 17th century. There is strong speculation that it's the origins of Reiki because of the many similarities. Bon is more in depth and intense. The lineage andinitiation that was sent has never been broken. It is the same line of energy that started it all, all those centuries ago. I am deeply honored to have been part of it.
Many of you who've worked with me know that I do very deep, transformational work. I find the root cause of your blocks and pains and help you remove them. Quite often you are tired, achy, headachy, tingly, nauseated etc. This happens because when you remove a root cause from your system, your body has to adjust and realign itself. If you let it, your system will never go back to old patterns, vibrations and ways of being. It will expand.
Well imagine doing this for 14 hours a day!!! Within the first three days I had moved so much "stuff" from my system I could barely get out of bed. Every single part of my body was hurting, aching. My head felt like it would explode. And then on the 4th day, it was over, I thought :O) On day 7 I again expanded beyond imagination. My whole system was given a tune up. I felt amazing, clear and focused. And then I got sick. :O) Being an energy worker I know that it's just a sign of energy movement , change and expansion.
The changes are immense and clear at times, but they are also subtle. My energy vibration has expanded and become more focused. I can sense even quicker what is going on with someone and if they chose to, help them create even greater changes in their life. For myself, I sense a huger level of compassion, patience and energy!! Even though I've was sick, I recovered very fast for me and my ability to do more has intensified.
What nuggets of insight can I share with you? This is a lineage holding tradition which means it's shared slowly, to a group of people and not shared openly. This is to honor the traditions and respect the process. I cannot share with you theactual experiences of what happened. We have been asked not to. With permission, I will be sharing energy expanding exercises in the Reiki III class. Below are nuggets of wisdom from the 17th century that can be shared, sound familiar?
- Your intention/attention to something creates the reality of it. Do you have a monkey mind that is out of control, always thinking negative thoughts, always chattering away. Or do you have some control over it? It is your job to become skilled at the power house which is your mind and being. You can be taught how to, but it's up to you to practice and master it.
- Love energy is actually less in vibration than compassion energy. When you love you usually love a few people, things, places. When you have compassion you have it for all. Cultivate compassion energy.
- Once you learn something, and can share it, then you need to. But don't forget to take care of yourself first. It's not generous when you give everything away.
- You are the source of happiness. The more you focus on empowering your well being, the more happy you are. The more you look outside yourself, the more unhappier you are.
